This rebuild kit includes Red Alto Friction Plates, Kolene Coated Steels, Sealing Rings, Metal Clad Seals, Gaskets, Orings & Rubber Piston Seals + Filter, 1.375" Kickdown Band, Pump Bushing, & Extension Housing Bushing. Note: This transmission used two different width bands depending on the year, from 1988-91 it came with a 1.375" band 1992-On used 1.60" Make sure you order the right kit based on year or measurement. These plates are Red Eagle high performance clutch plates. These clutches are put through a process where the friction paper is saturated in a phenolic resin, cured, and then saturated a second time in a silicate. The silicate imparts high heat resistance.
