Chrysler A500 40RH Transmission Performance Alto Red Eagle Rebuild Less Steel L2 Kit 1992-On. This rebuild kit includes all of the High Performance Red Alto Friction Plates, Sealing Rings, Metal Clad Seals, Gaskets, Orings & Rubber Piston Seals + Filter, 1.60" Band, Pump Bushing, & Extension Housing Bushing. This Transmission Kit is one that will only fit the 40RH Hyrdraulic 1992-On will not work in the 42RH, 42RE, or 44RE. These clutches are put through a process where the friction paper is saturated in a phenolic resin, cured, and then saturated a second time in a silicate. The silicate imparts high heat resistance.
