126202 - Sonnax Converter Hub Support Pump Bearing - Ford 6R140

Ford 6R140 units often suffer loss of lubrication pressure at the converter hub support pump bearing due to failure of the integral bearing seal. When the bearing itself fails, a high-pitch noise/pump whine will result. Installing Sonnax converter hub support pump bearing 126202 restores normal operation by stemming the leakage and eliminating abnormal noise.

Note

Install Sonnax bearing with seal side toward the converter.

Symptoms:

Pump noise

Bearing failure

Loss of lube oil

Cause:

Converter hub support pump bearing seal allows leakage, resulting in loss of lube pressure and bearing failure.

Correction:

Stop leaks, restore lube pressure and prevent repeat failure by installing Sonnax converter hub support pump bearing.
